2017 Travel Tech Trend 5: Experiential Travel

It turns out traveling to a far-flung destination is no longer enough. It’s now all about what you do when you get there, and possibly more importantly, what you can brag about on Facebook.
Quick look back at the Booking.com research and it turns out 58 percent of them said they would prefer to spend their holiday money enjoying experiences rather than material possessions and exceedingly luxurious accommodation.
So again, that’s a great news for Stay Planner as we will get to help more and more holidaymakers make the most of their time away. This is especially exciting now that we will be able to share Viator content alongside activities provided by hotels themselves.
